Greece is among the favored destinations for Polish vacationers and this year shows great indications based on vacation-related internet searches from Poland. Their preference for outdoor experiences, beautiful beaches, and local customs led Spyrou Hotels to host the FAM trip for 20 Polish Travel agents in Skopelos.
The 20 select travel agents from Poland were organized by Rainbow Tours and were accommodated at Skopelos Holidays & Spa during their stay on the island from June 1-4, 2016. The agents were treated to a guided tour of the island with visits to the cultural highlights, the very places “Mamma Mia” Hollywood film was shot, the island’s beautiful beaches and all 5 properties Spyrou Hotels accommodates the “Rainbow Tours” clients.
“Skopelos is a truly unique destination and its natural features are of course one of the main draws for visitors from Poland” said John Grigoras Deputy Manager – Sales & Marketing for Spyrou Hotels. “It offers breath-taking vistas and crystalline waters, perfect for relaxation and what visitors are looking for during their vacations.” Focusing on nature, Skopelos is recovering from severe flooding which occurred on the island last September. Along these lines, Spyrou Hotels has actively participated in efforts assisting in cleanup. “We remain faithful to our values and sensitivity for the environment which is a strong part of our company’s culture. It is very important to show the best of what the island has to offer in terms of its natural beauties and warm Greek hospitality” he added. “Familiarization trips are integral in the sales cycle as this personal experience is relayed directly to the potential visitor. Nothing can compare to this first-hand knowledge that only visiting can offer” he concluded.
